He says his team stays there often and the entire team at Vancouver HI is awesome. I would say that I agree. Location was easy, safe and entire staff was so friendly, desk clerks when I arrived, shuttle driver (female) on my first night to the airport was extremely sweet. Driver on my return was actually the Duty Engineer pulling double-duty. He was very informative about the area and the hotel shuttle hours, etc... Also, and this is the BIG one. My flight was about 35 minutes late due to bad weather in Minneapolis, and as I arrived at the shuttle landing at PDX, the hotel actually CALLED ME to verify my status. I've never ever heard of this. I couldn't believe that they called ME to check on my status. That is amazing. You've won a customer for your shuttle service for life!!!! Thank you BILL SMELSER, Keizer, OR"

"I appreciate your service. I also appreciate the Hampton Inn Airport Vancouver. Both organizations are efficient and professional. This was the second time I used your services and I think I'll get it right on the third. First time I waited on island 2 thinking it was island 3. Missed the first shuttle and another one had to be sent. Second time Hampton's shuttle driver had to leave early and they graciously arranged for an Urber driver. I didn't understand that the pickup area for Ubers was not on island 3 but inside the parking garage on the lower level. Missed my first pickup and they had to arrange a second. The inside Uber area is arranged by zones: A1, A2, A3, B1 B2, B3 C1, C2, C3, C4. So this is after dark. I guess the Hampton Inn rep, who was very diligent and trying his best, didn't know about the zones and I didn't know exactly which zone the driver was waiting for me at. It is very hard in the contrasty light to identify car makes and you can't read a license plate until your right up to the car. Fortunately I finally found the car, hauling two stacks of luggage along three or four hundred feet of zones A1 to C4. Nicole was very kind and got me back to the Hampton and my vehicle. I don't blame Rightway or the Hampton Vancouver. At 77 and after 17 or 20 hours of flying, I was tired and quite frustrated. I think the Portland airports shuttle and Uber pickup is a bit complicated and an unpleasant surprise to the uninformed new customer. Hopefully this will be very helpful to other customers in my situation."
